Stoke Gabriel CC vs. Ivybridge CC - Saturday 7th July 2007
In the reverse second team fixture at Stoke Gabriel, Ivybridge came off second best after a top order batting collapse. Ivybridge would have been satisfied at halfway having kept Stoke down to 186 for 6. Gareth Stuckey was again the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 21, although Adam Warden (1 for 20) and Pete Abraham (1 for 60) also bowled better than their figures suggest.
After tea, the visitors batting never got going and crumbled to 52 for 7, before a rally from the experienced Nick Thomas (41) and Pete Abraham (22) started to get the home side worried. Thomas departed but Warden (15 not out) and Stuckey (10) kept up the good work, but Ivybridge had just lost too many early wickets to get any closer than 147 to their target.
